Dooboo Family Assistant helps authorized family members organize Gmail and receive email and calendar briefings.

Google data and use

Gmail access allows the assistant to read message information, including sender, subject, snippet, date, labels and, for briefings, message content. It can apply labels or move messages to Trash according to authorized instructions. Calendar read access supports event briefings. The integration also requests Drive read access; the inspected scheduled jobs do not establish regular use of Drive contents.

Sharing and storage

Information needed for AI processing may be sent to OpenAI. Summaries are delivered to family-designated Discord channels. Google credentials are stored in Windows Credential Manager on the host computer. Processing status, session records, temporary files and summaries may also be stored on the host.

Retention and requests

There is no confirmed uniform automatic deletion period for local records. Data sent to OpenAI or Discord may be retained in accordance with those services' settings and policies. You can revoke the application's Google access through your Google Account's third-party connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete existing copies.
